What is SafeExchange?

SafeExchange is a five-step process that provides Online Delivery Solution. It works as a payment agent for all online transactions. With the latest technology at hand, it assures the security of both the Buyer and the Seller. It protects the Seller by making sure the funds are available and it protects the Buyer by ensuring the safe transport of the merchandise using SafeExchange tracking system.

How does SafeExchange function?

Step 1: Approval
Buyer and Seller agree and approve terms and conditions of the transaction. The initiating party defines the terms of the transaction and provides information about the merchandise. Once all the information has been provided, a notification via E-mail is sent to the other party.

Step 2: Payment
After both parties agree to terms, the Buyer submits payment to SafeExchange.net through CashWallet. SafeExchange secures good funds before notifying the Seller to ship the merchandise.

Step 3: Shipment
Upon payment verification, Seller is permitted to ship the merchandise, in good condition, using SafeExchange nominated courier with an online traceable method. The courier informs SafeExchange of delivery details with tracking information and status/condition of the merchandise.

Step 4: Receipt
The courier sends delivery/acceptance receipt to SafeExchange. SafeExchange confirms receipt of merchandise and makes necessary adjustment, such as, shipping and SafeExchange fees before the transfer of payment to the seller is made.

Reasons to reject items:

• Item is damaged during delivery. Courier will cover SafeExchange fees, including shipping, and will also reimburse seller the cost of merchandise. Buyer’s payment will be refunded.
• Item is damaged before delivery. Before seller ships, merchandise must be in good condition otherwise transaction is fraudulent. Seller will cover shipping and SafeExchange fees.
• Wrong item sent. Seller must acknowledge oversight and accept returned merchandise. Seller will cover additional shipping and SafeExchange fees.

When should I use SafeExchange services?
This is ideal for transactions made online where both the Buyer and Seller are unknown to each other. Both parties are protected from fraud. To ensure transaction completion, SafeExchange.net provides a highly secured platform/facility that enable both parties to communicate and perform their duties confidently.

What can I buy or sell using the SafeExchange services?
This service is applicable for general merchandise items such as electronics, accessories, gadgets, clothing, furniture and other tangible items. SafeExchange.net will not carry out transactions involving illegal items such as drugs, weapons, etc. as defined by current laws.

How long would the process take?
The duration of the transaction period, from the moment the Seller and Buyer agrees to terms until the Buyers receives goods and the Seller accepts the payment, depends on both parties. But there are two (2) things that we have to consider: 1.) the distance between the Seller and the Buyer; 2.) The availability of the merchandise.

Can SafeExchange be used for International Transaction?
Unfortunately, for now SafeExchange service is only made available for the Philippine Market.

Can SafeExchange support all the transactions Online?
Not all. SafeExchange supports most online transactions except for items specified under SafeExchange Terms & Conditions as items not allowed to purchase.
