TRANSACTIONS
Is there a limit on the quantity of transactions to be made?
There is no limit as to how many transactions a Buyer or a Seller may enter into, provided they have enough funds to pay for their purchases and they abide by the rules and regulations stipulated in SafeExchange’s rules and regulations.
How do I monitor the status of my transaction?
The fastest way to monitor your transaction is to sign in to your SafeExchange account. Click on My Transactions, where you can view the details of your shipping and tracking history. You may also check the status of your transactions by contacting customer service at telephone nos. 632 8245447 or 8245443.
Can I modify my transaction details?
Modification is permitted only when both parties have not reached any agreement or payment has not been made/received through the SafeExchange account. Otherwise, parties must wait until a deal is executed before they’re given consent to make any alteration with the data. The Buyer and Seller must have consent for any changes in the transaction. For every modification that will be made, an email notification will be sent to both parties for security purposes.
If a conflict arises during the negotiation period, what will happen to the transaction?
If a conflict arises during the negotiation, the Buyer or the Seller has the option to either cancel or continue with the transaction. Every decision must have consent from both parties and a notification will be sent for security purposes.
Can a Buyer or Seller cancel a transaction?
There are only four allowed reasons for cancellation
- Both parties cannot come up with a compromised agreement.
- There’s fraud from either the Buyer or Seller.
- Payment has not been made by the Buyer.
- Seller is unable to ship merchandise.
Transaction is automatically cancelled once it was confirmed that the merchandise was damage prior or during the delivery period. In case the seller shipped damaged goods, SafeExchange will also cancel the secured payment.
However, if the merchandise was damaged while in-transit, the secured payment is cancelled and the courier refunds the Seller and SafeExchange for possible penalties incurred.
How does a Buyer and Seller withdraw a transaction?
Either the Buyer or Seller may cancel the transaction by pressing the “Cancel Transaction” button located at the lower right part of the transaction page. Fill out the “Reason for Cancellation” and press confirm. A cancellation is successful if you see “STOP! THIS TRANSACTION HAS BEEN CANCELLED” at the lower part of the transaction page
Can a third party cancel a transaction?
Yes. SafeExchange as a payment agent may terminate any transaction once it does not meet the requirements as stated on the policy or if there is any fraud suspected.
What if a Buyer does not pay?
Before any shipment is done, SafeExchange has already secured the Buyers funds thus, eliminating any non-payment concerns.
What if a Seller does not ship the items?
Payments will not be released, nor transferred to Seller’s account until the Buyer receives the item/s purchased.
