SHIPMENT

How do I ship the merchandise?
Upon receipt of payment from Buyer, SafeExchange.net will authorize the Seller to ship the merchandise. An email notification, with an Airway Bill form, will be sent to the Seller and must be filled up with complete details. This will instruct our courier to pick up merchandise from the Seller. Seller may choose his own packaging or use the courier’s supplies.

* Merchandise must be in good condition prior to shipping, otherwise, transaction is considered fraudulent.

Who pays for the shipping charges?
During the agreement of terms, the Buyer and Seller must agree on who will shoulder shipping charges. If the Buyer is responsible for the shipping fees, the shipping amount is added to the total purchase price. Otherwise, shipping fees will be deducted from total amount before the release of payment to seller.

What happens when items are damaged during shipping?
If the merchandise was damaged during the delivery period, it will be shipped back instantaneously to the Seller and the forwarder will be liable for the reimbursement  of damaged item, shipping charges and additional SafeExchange fees. Buyer’s payment will also be refunded by SafeExchange.net.

When can a seller ship the item/s?
Upon receipt of payment from Buyer, SafeExchange.net will authorize the Seller to ship the merchandise.

How long before the Buyer receives the shipment?
Standard delivery time within Metro Manila is 3-5 days. For shipments outside Metro Manila, it take 5-7 days.

If the Buyer returns the item/s, who will pay for the charges?
Buyer is only allowed to return items when it’s confirmed that merchandise is damaged prior to delivery and Seller agrees to it. Seller will be responsible for all shipping and SafeExchange.net charges. Otherwise, Buyer will be liable for all additional charges.

Do Buyers have delivery options in shipping back the items?
The same courier and method must be used when returning items.

Who can I use to ship the merchandise?
SafeExchange.net has a nominated courier, an all-Filipino company that offers door-to-door pick-up and delivery services.

Is insurance a requirement?
Yes. All shipments are insured for the item's full value. Failure to insure the item for its full value means assumption of liability in the event the merchandise is damaged or lost.
